What Is a Manzilian?
A Manzilian wax— also called a Male Brazilian wax, Brozilian, or Boyzilian — is full hair removal from the front, back, and everything between: shaft, scrotum, perineum, and inner gluteal area. You can keep a strip, triangle, or a clean landing zone above the pubic bone, or go fully bare. Your call.
We use the term “Manzilian” because that’s what most men actually search for. It’s the same service women know as a Brazilian — engineered for male anatomy and performed by estheticians trained specifically for it. Our Manzilian are done in around 15 minutes time.
Why Men Are Booking This (Not Just Athletes and Models Anymore)
Three measurable reasons, in order of how often clients tell us:
Hygiene. Hair traps sweat, sebum, and bacteria. Removing it reduces odor and the warm, humid microclimate that bacteria need. Less hair, less smell — a cleaner baseline that soap alone can’t match.
Smoothness that lasts. Waxing pulls hair from the follicle, not the surface. You get 3 to 6 weeks of smooth skin per session. With consistency, regrowth comes in finer and sparser, and the gap between visits stretches.

What to Expect at Your First Appointment
Plan on 15 to 20 minutes in the room — the actual waxing portion is closer to 15 to 20.
Before you arrive:
- Trim hair to about ¼ inch (a grain of rice). Too short and the wax can’t grip; too long and it hurts more than it needs to.
- Exfoliate the area gently 24–48 hours prior.
- Take ibuprofen 30 minutes before if you’re pain-sensitive if you need it.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and heavy workouts the morning of — all heighten skin sensitivity.
- Shower. Show up clean.
In the room:
You’ll undress from the waist down and lie on a treatment table. Your esthetician will guide you through positioning — including holding the skin taut yourself in certain areas, which speeds things up and reduces discomfort. Hard wax is applied in small sections, allowed to set, then removed in the direction that minimizes trauma to the follicle.
Pain, honestly: First session is the most intense, especially around the perineum and scrotum. It’s sharp, brief, and over fast. By session two or three, most clients describe it as “uncomfortable, not bad.” Hair grows back finer each cycle, which makes every visit easier than the last.
Aftercare — The Part That Actually Determines Your Results
Skipping aftercare is the #1 reason clients get ingrown hairs and blame the wax. The wax isn’t the problem.
First 48 hours:
- No hot showers, saunas, hot tubs, or pools.
- No gym, no sex, no sweating.
- No tight clothing — loose cotton only.
- No touching, scratching, or shaving.
Days 3–28:
- Exfoliate 2–3x per week with a chemical exfoliant (glycolic or salicylic acid). Skip the rough scrubs on this skin.
- Moisturize daily.
- If you get a bump, don’t pick it. A warm compress and a topical with salicylic acid usually clears it.
- You also have ingrown hair serum for sale and exfoliating gloves.
Rebook every 4 to 6 weeks. Consistency is what makes hair grow back finer and waxing less painful over time. Stretching to 8+ weeks resets the cycle.

Will I get an erection? Is that a problem? Urban legend. Barrely never happens.
Who’s doing the waxing? A licensed esthetician trained specifically in male intimate waxing. Not every wax studio does Manzilians; ours specialize in it.
How long does the hair need to be? About ¼ inch. If you’ve shaved recently, give it 2–3 weeks of growth before booking.
Does it hurt more than a women’s Brazilian? The mechanics are the same. Male hair is often coarser, which can mean more sensation on the first visit. By visit three, most men report it’s milder than they expected.

Can I work out the same day? No. Wait 48 hours. Friction + sweat on freshly waxed skin = ingrown hairs and irritation.
Will hair grow back thicker? No — that’s a myth. Waxed hair grows back finer and sparser over time because the follicle weakens with repeated removal.
What if I have ingrown hairs from shaving? Waxing is the fix, not the cause. Pulling hair from the root tends to clear up shave-related ingrowns within a few cycles, especially with proper exfoliation.
Do I need to tip? Tipping is appreciated but never required. Standard is 15–20% if you’d like to.
