Do many guys get waxed?

Why wax?
Personal reasons for waxing are as many and diverse as our customers, but here are the benefits that clients have told us: being hair-free feels cleaner and more hygienic/ reduced body odor, particularly in summer/ sports related benefits for swimmers, athletes, cyclists, and military men/ improved appearance and enhanced muscle definition/ partners prefer the smooth look/ waxing of intimate areas heightens sensitivity.
Can I get my intimate part waxed?
We’ll wax pretty much anything except your car and surf-board.
What does waxing involve?
The area to be treated is coated with a thin layer of warm wax, which sticks to the hair and removes it by the root when pulled off. We use a combination of soft wax and hard wax for the most effective/comfortable result. But we know in fact that guys like hard more and we love our guys. So we mostly use hard wax on men.
Will it hurt?
The sensation is similar to being slapped with a rubber band. So you will survive.
Will it feel uncomfortable afterwards?
Some slight redness and soreness are common temporary reactions. You may experience a few pimples on the chest or back, particularly if this is your first wax. These should subside within a few hours, we recommend applying PFB VanishTM product for better results.
Are there any conditions that will prevent me from getting waxed?
Contagious skin conditions or medications will prevent us from waxing the affected area until the condition has completely cleared. For more details look at the Viva Girl section.
How should I prepare for my treatment?
A shower before your appointment will be appreciated, and gently exfoliate the areas you are having waxed.
Do not shave on the area for at least 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment, as hair needs to be a minimum of ½ cm long in order to wax successfully. With us the longer the better, no need to trim -we will handle it for you.
How long will the treatment take?
This depends on the area being waxed and the density of hair. Eyebrows take about 15 minutes, legs 30 minutes, and a chest or back wax will take 15-30 minutes. A first time Man’zilian takes 30 minutes. We allow extra time for new clients so they feel comfortable and educated and not rushed.
How should I care for my skin after a wax?

How long will the results last?
To maintain your smooth appearance, we recommend waxing regularly every 4 to 5 weeks.
How much does it cost?
We operate a somewhat flexible pricing for men. Our prices are based on the amount of hair you have. Ask us for pricing. But no worries -our prices are fair and include a lot of extra grooming!
What does body clipping involve?
If you need a bit of grooming but just can’t bear the thought of waxing, then our clipping service may be the solution. Ask us for pricing.
What is a Man’ Zilian waxing?
The male Brazilian wax involves the removal of hair from the groin, penis, scrotum, buttocks and in between.
Will it hurt?
Our policy is to remove the hair as quickly and painlessly as possible, and our highly skilled technicians are the best on the West Coast. Our clients agree that the discomfort is no where near as bad as they anticipated.
Will it feel uncomfortable afterwards?
Slight soreness, small bumps and redness are common temporary reactions to the first time waxer. They should go away in the next 2 hours after a treatment.
What type of wax do you use?
We use only Hard Wax for intimate waxing. Our depilatory wax are customs made and imported exclusively for us by Cire Pro USA, our private label company.
