What is the difference between bikini wax, full bikini and a Brazilian wax?
No one wants to feel like they are the only ones who don’t know. Relax, no one will think less of you for asking the difference between waxing treatments. Your esthetician will explain the services in details so you can safely pick the one most suited for you.
- Bikini Line: This treatment can be seen as very basic housekeeping. The hair from the sides and across the top of your bikini / panty line will be cleared away.
Important: This wax service deals with the frontal area only. - Bikini Full: Similar to the basic bikini, this service allows you to decide how much of the hair in the frontal region you would like to remove. Or add a shape – a triangle, ‘landing strip’, or even completely bare – it’s 100% your decision.
- Brazilian: The Brazilian deals with the backside, in addition to the regions covered by the Full Bikini. This wax will leave you feeling silky smooth, everywhere.
Will a few cocktails make the experience less painful?
Even the most experienced clients sometimes want to take the edge off. But, tempting as it sounds, having alcohol before a wax is counterproductive. Alcohol and caffeine make your pores tighten and this could actually make the process more painful. Rather save the drinks for afterwards (when you can celebrate that it’s over) and pop two motrin 30 minutes before your treatment to help.
Can I show off my new bikini and get tan?
Freshly waxed skin is a little more sensitive than before a wax services and it really worth it to hold off on tanning for 24-36. We cannot condone irresponsible sun exposure, so continue to use sunscreen all over your body, paying special attention to the waxed area. No hard working-out hard ans sauna for also 24-48 hours.
Getting ‘intimate’ after getting a Brazilian wax?
Don’t feel awkward asking your esthetician. That’s why we are her after all. There is no fact telling that you cannot get intimate after a Brazilian wax. For less irritation, safety and better results, we recommend to select a salon using stripless wax. We use an hypoallergenic low temperature stripless wax designed to give you both the most comfortable experience and the best results when waxing intimate areas.
Getting a Brazilian wax when I’m pregnant?
There is no reason why you can’t get a Brazilian wax during pregnancy. Getting the treatment done might not be quite a simple as it was before but your esthetician will work around it. Forget the misconception about waxing during pregnancy. There is no evidence to support that waxing your can induce labour – urban legend. So don’t stress, you can be assured nothing will happen as a result of your treatment.
